Project Three
I don't have all 40 images yet because I was trying to find things that felt they'd fit or felt they would be useable for the project. I used a DSLR camera and I'm glad I did because I believe the photos came out much better compared to if I had used my phone. I have a lot of images involving my spiritual practices and art materials.
These pictures are definitely isolated really well and I think the lighting gives them a lonely feeling. What's the theme of your piece? I feel like there's a lot of potential for utilizing white space and accentuating lonliness or isolation.
ReplyDeleteThanks Maya! I wasn't quite sure where I was heading with this project, I feel like this is going to be one of those projects where the concept develops more as the project does as well. I like your idea of loneliness and isolation a lot. I live in a van and I don't know many in the Boone area, so between that and the pandemic their has been a huge sense of isolation. I'll keep that in mind as I develop the concept :-)
